Massive fire breaks out in old town Baramulla

Baramulla : A massive fire broke out in Jalal Sahib, Old Town area of Baramulla in North Kashmir on Monday while the efforts are on to douse the flames.

Officials, as per the news agency, said that the blaze broke out from one of the structures and quickly spread to nearby structures in the congested locality. Soon after the incident, the locals immediately swung into action to contain the fire. They were later joined by the fire and emergency services. Multiple fire tenders were pressed into service and efforts are currently underway to douse off the flames—(KNO)
