CRPF Organizes Cycle Campaign under Khelo India Fit India Initiative

Srinagar, July 27: In a lively show of fitness and patriotism, the Srinagar Sector CRPF organized a Cycle Campaign today. The ride went from the famous Lal Chowk Clock Tower to SKICC Srinagar as part of the Khelo India Scheme’s Fit India initiative led by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.The event aimed to promote healthy lifestyles and raise awareness about physical fitness. CRPF officers and personnel participated enthusiastically.

As they rode through the heart of Srinagar, the campaign emphasized the importance of cycling as an eco-friendly and fitness-focused way to travel.Shri P.K. Singh, DIG Srinagar South CRPF, flagged off the campaign. He praised the participants for their enthusiasm and commitment to the Fit India Movement. He stressed how these initiatives encourage a culture of health, discipline, and environmental awareness.Officials mentioned that the CRPF consistently engages in community-friendly initiatives as part of the Fit India Movement. This supports the national vision of a healthier and more active society.

The event wrapped up at SKICC Srinagar with a brief session where participants reaffirmed their commitment to promoting fitness and well-being in their daily lives.This initiative highlighted the CRPF’s dedication to national security and its proactive role in fostering community engagement and social welfare beyond its main responsibilities.
