 Pakistan Violates Ceasefire Along LoC in Multiple J&K Sectors, Indian Army Responds

Srinagar, May 5 (JKNS): During the intervening night of May 4 and 5, Pakistan Army posts resorted to unprovoked small arms fire across multiple sectors along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.

Official sources told news agency JKNS that the firing took place in areas opposite Kupwara, Baramulla, Poonch, Rajouri, Mendhar, Naushera, Sunderbani, and Akhnoor sectors.

Indian Army personnel deployed along the frontier retaliated promptly and in a calibrated manner, sources added.

There were no immediate reports of any casualties or damage on the Indian side, officials said. The situation along the LoC is being closely monitored. (JKNS)
