Militant Hideout Busted in Anantnag Forest Area

Srinagar, Mar 24 (KB): Security forces have busted a militant hideout in Sungalan forest in Anantnag, an official said on Monday.The official told news agency Kashmir Bulletin that army’s 19 Rashtriya Rifles and SOG, upon receiving specific inputs cordoned off a suspected site, which resulted in busting of a militant hideout.”A cache of arms and ammunition, besides other incriminating material, which include grenade, batteries, used cartridges, smartphone, radio, a small telescope and a power bank, cooking utensils, a gas cylinder, and bags have been recovered at the site,” the official added.
